Charlie hen is a regular visitor to the pottery. She lives on the farm and is a particularly nosy hen. Since the pottery reopened its doors Charlie can often be found strutting up and down outside the pottery, weeding the flower beds in between greeting the visitors. She roosts in the fuchsia bush opposite the pottery.
Today the clippers arrived on the farm with their portable ‘salon’ and the ‘girls’ queued up for a wee haircut, Charlie was caught making her way to join the queue, but was rescued before her feathers were ruffled!!
At the ceramic cafe Charlie was also providing inspiration to the our customers and this lovely hen was created
